Fellow Business Executives:
As the CFO of this business that employs 140 people, I have resigned myself to the fact that Barrack Obama is our next President, and that our taxes and government fees will increase in a BIG way.
To compensate for these increases, I figure that the Clients will have to see an increase in our fees to them of about 8% but since we cannot increase our fees right now due to the dismal state of our economy, we will have to lay off six of our employees instead. This has really been eating at me for a while, as we believe we are family here and I didn’t know how to choose who will have to go.
So, this is what I did. I strolled thru our parking lot and found 8 Obama bumper stickers on our employees’ cars and have decided these folks will be the first to be laid off. I can’t think of a more fair way to approach this problem. These folks wanted change; I gave it to them.
If you have a better idea, let me know.

Sounds reasonable to me!!! Unfortunately, I may not have the luxury of being selective when deciding who to lay off. We’ll be lucky to be able to keep ANY of our employees.

Right! Because targeting specific employees for their political beliefs and practices is totally reasonable, fair, and hilarious! I just love to see people’s civil liberties stomped on! LOLZ!
Well then, Heather, you must be just as happy as a pig in shit all day every day.
Personally, I’m a little tired of everything we say or do being labeled as un-pc or violating our civil liberties.
I own a small business. You might want to think your civil liberty gods because I would actually do that. You think that if I had to lay off some employees due to Barry’s tax plan, I shouldn’t have the right to fire/layoff whomever voted for a guy who COST THEM THEIR JOBS? I don’t care how un-pc it is seen or who wants to file big-ass (if you read here much, you know everything is “big-ass”) lawsuit. I’m gonna fire the wons who voted for him. They created their own demise.
So SUE ME!
Yeah, that’s it…..sue me. I’ll have to go out of business. Then…heee heee….I could probably qualify for some of the Obama money that he’s gonna give out to the new class of welfare recepients. And, insurance! Hot dog! I’d have insurance….a luxury that I can’t afford for myself now. And, help with my house payment, clothing vouchers, and so much more.
