“The Insider” cameras caght Anna’s estranged mother, VIRGIE ARTHUR, making a stop for refreshments at McDonald’s last night in the Bahamas. Virgie and her companion were seen walking out with four large drinks, possibly milkshakes, to cool off from the island heat. (My comment: Vergie is such a hot mamma, she needs some cooling off. Hey, cabana boy, can ya bring a couple of trays of burgers to the big “V”?)
Virgie told “The Insider” she is back in the Bahamas “for her family,” adding that she will be in court every day of the inquest into her grandson’s death. She has also requested that she be able to testify.” (My comment: Testify to what? That she’s pure white trash?)
OK…..all of you people who are doing searches on Verige. Here she is…..eating at McDonald’s. Looks like she might be hauling around a few Big Macs already. And, honey, I ain’t talking about her companion, either. So, Vergie is back in the Bahamas for “her family”. (My comment: That phrase reminds me of Charlie Manson for some reason).

In truth, Vergie has been typed into “searches” so many times, I figured I’d get a few blogs hits off of her. I figured if the big “V” can use her grief for publicity, it would be fair game for me to use her.
It was either Vergie or an indepth discussion of why Donatella Versace’s daughter is anorexia. SHOCK AND DISMAY……Donatella as a mother. “shudder and shiver”. Go figure.
Let hope God doesn’t judge you as harshly as you are judging Virgie. This only shows how shallow you are, judging a person by their looks and of all things, what they eat.
Virgie is an upstanding person in her community. She served on the police force for 28 years. Is she so awful because she tried to stop her daughter from dancing in strip clubs and acting out as many teenagers do. If she was such a bad person, how come Anna let her raise Daniel for so many years?
I think you are only hearing what you want to hear. Did you by any chance hear Anna say that she cried for her mother when Dannielynn was born? No, you probably didn’t. All her mother ever tried to do was save her and this is what she gets for it?
I certainly hope all your relative are beautiful and thin, lest they be thought of as white trash.

FYI…Yes, I did hear her say that she cried out for her mother. And, I also saw her interview where she said that she didn’t ever want her mother touching her little girl.
Anna Nicole was a very troubled person. Her mental instability didn’t start in the last years of her life. This takes root early on in life.
Also, I recommend that you and Carin look up sarcasm in the dictionary. I plainly stated in the title that I was just trying to get some hits. It was a backhanded joke at all the people who were looking up Vergie Arthur on the internet.
I am not going to apologize for my blog. You are welcome to do what I do. If I don’t like what somebody says, I just move on and not read anymore.

Anna was never addicted to street drugs, she was addicted to prescribed drugs by a ‘supposed’
physician. It happens more often than people realize or want to admit. Then add alcohol to the mix,
she was a crazy women~! This is such a deep sorrowful story to me.
It is documented on her true hollywood story [THS] that she had a messed up boob lift, that went on
for quite a time. Her then live-in boyfriend, at the time, said that she started taking lots of
pain meds through out that time. There was nose, face, probably several uplifts and supposed fixes for years, with pain and probably infection scar tissue. She was a pretty girl, but some of the pics for guess was not the same young woman.
Pain, Body Pain and listening to the history of her ‘mother’ and her [and her 5 hubbys],and I now
understand something with a missing police-issue gun??? I imagine serious deep rooted
emotional pain. Those to things put together spells deep, deep trouble. Kim, Howard and others
unfortunately probably saw some of that and who is to say what you would do if that was some one
you loved. Let alone all the other people around her.
You say you can’t love someone and let that happen…I see it everyday. People are so uninformed
about this and really don’t care unless it happens to them or ANS. And her son probably had his own
issues with pills and depression. Some one said he had been in the hospital, she or Howard. Who
knows, ????
Son dies. Add this to an already physically, emotionally and probably spiritually splintered new
mother and it wouldn’t take a pshycic to imagine her dying also. One more pill, I’m in pain and I
can’t sleep or don’t want to sleep cause I see Daniel in my dreams. It will help me sleep, just let
me sleep God. An addict in her position could be watched and tied down 24/7 and she would kill to
get what she thinks she needs.
My account is half public knowledge and speculation, Unfortunately Vergie instigated this for both
daughter and grandson……..HKS, Various Boyfriends, friends just plain did what she wanted and
did their best. Larry, Dunno….. Shame on the Doctors and Pharmacies, Rx’s allowing ‘hollywood’ to
use various names so there privacy is not invaded.
So, so sad………….

Barb…you put that very well. Thank you. And, I’m in total agreement that this is a very sad story. And the “one more pill” “just let me sleep” is probably a very accurate assumption.
I’m going to get some name-calling posts (at me) but I just don’t see where Vergie Arthur did a very good job as a mother. Wouldn’t the fact that she had five husbands tell a little about her? Wouldn’t the fact that when she talked about having good times with AN include going out drinking and partying together say something? And wouldn’t the fact that she refuses to answer her own daughter’s wish as where to be buried make her a little questionable in the parenting department?
OK..enough said about VA.
No matter what opinions about on the internet, the end of Anna Nicole is still a tragedy.

I’ve read that Virgie Arthur’s Bahama attorneys are clamoring for their money from Arthur. I’m sure that as soon as all the attorneys find out that she’s not going to receive any money or her granddaughter, they’ll all drop her like a big bag of rocks.
She is the true picture of “Trailer Park Trash”! All of you that think it’s OK to take along a Tabloid reporter to view your dead daughters body, your just as bad as she is! I’ve known alley cats that make better mothers then this slob!

Living in Montgomery, Texas, 2.6 miles from Virgie’s House to be exact, she is not the upstanding citizen. K Peterson, please do not speak for our town. We are actually ashamed of the attention she has brought to our wonderful small town of 489. She lives in a broke down white trailer with red trim and needs a new porch. Her land and home’s appraisal value registered with the county at $19,000. Now tell me she isn’t in it for the money. If Anna didn’t speak to her in life, leave her alone in death.

I just read that anna’s brother david who was born b4 anna nicole was father’d by vergie’s step brother. vergie had anna when she was 16yrs old.
anna basically grew up with her aunt.
I was horrified when I read this

if you look up symptoms of sexual child abuse in adulthood you will see anna nicole smith had
all of them.
speaking from experience and having worked in a drug/alcohol treatment center
anna showed all the signs of ‘seeking approval’ from men while the whole time she was living with the shame and the drugs only numbed her feelings.
I in my opinion think howard k. stern was anna’s
confidant and this is why howard is so strongly fighting to make sure larry birkhead gets full custody.
anna wasn’t ashamed of where she was born, she was ashamed of what happened to her.
I am betting that howard will come forward with the information and
hopefully larry knows all this mess during anna’s tormented
and tramatized life this 39yr old woman lived with 24/7.

k. stern was so close to her because he choose to protect anna and anna’s reputation. even though vergie talked badly about anna in court saying anna would call her @ 3am. well, unfortunately anna had to be high when she talked to her mother cause of all of the abuse that anna went through.
makes you wonder what vergie did to anna’s son while he lived with vergie.
a lot of sickness and painful memories lived in anna’s heart til her spirit was finally broken by vergie’s final statement she made on national tv.

Janice…..I agree with you. You made some really good points. I was wondering about why these allegations weren’t investigated, too. Being a victim of abuse and knowing other abuse victims, I agree that Anna fit the profile perfectly.
Until Anna’s death and all of these details came out, I was like a lot of people who dismissed her as an attention seeking, dumb blonde. My opinion of her has totally done a complete turn-around since her death. There was much more to her than I gave her credit for. She was a very strong woman who had a lot of pain in her life. I really am sorry that I (among many people) misjudged her.

You are all idiots! Those are 2 drinks, not BigMacs you’re showing us. They have flat, white tops. Looks like coffee to me.
If that woman was so abused, then why was she crying for her mommy everytime something went wrong in her life. Cried even on tv how she called mommy when Daniel died. And why did she leave her kid to live with her! And why did her abusive mommy take her to the Betty Ford Clinic the first time? Even her step-sister said that her mother divorced Anna’s step-father because he was a pervert. She divorced that guy for Anna.
One thing is for sure here. If I was abused, I’d never be sending my kid to live there. I think it’s all a crock and the people here spreading it more should be ashamed of themselves. ANS was a spoiled brat who left her mother to live in a trailer while she lived in a mansion. Shut up already! There’s a ton of abused kids in the world. Go help them if you’re so concerned instead of sitting on your fat asses soaking up a soap-opera.
I approve all comments here because I live that we have the freedom to think and say what we feel as long as it doesn’t put another person in danger.
However, I came close to deleting this one because most of it makes no sense. I don’t watch soap operas but get this big feeling that you do. i can understand the hurt anna carried because i was abused by my mom and my dad let it happen to me and my brothers. the hurt never goes away and what saved me was a visit at a mental hospital where people were talking about abuse and the things that can happen to people in it. i wish anna had the miracle i walked into when i was 16 because it saved my life to know i wasnt alone and it wasnt my fault. my parents didnt know any thing was going on that day in that hospital. abuse is abuse , there is no excuse for it. vergie should quit what she is doing to her grand daughter before she loses her for good this time.god bless howard ,larry and that baby girl from that monster called vergie.

Jennifer….I am sorry to hear your sad story. I, too, was abused by a family member. The memory and pain NEVER go away. And now, Vergie is perpertrated another type of abuse on her own grandchild and the child’s father.

This woman lost her daughter and her grandson in less than 6 months and this is all you have to talk about? What about Stern who was around her all the time? Why did he not get her some help?? Instead he got the prescriptions in his name and fed them to her every 4 hours. Anna hardly ever even got out of her bed. He even was trying to get Daniel away from his Mother.
