“Anna Nicole Smith’s mother is in the Bahamas to check on the welfare of her granddaughter, a police official in the island chain said Friday.
Reginald Ferguson, assistant commissioner for the Royal Bahamas Police Force, said Vergie Arthur believes her 5-month-old granddaughter, Dannielynn Hope Marshall Stern, is in Nassau but he could not confirm her whereabouts. “
This is bullshitaccording to Geraldo Riveria on Fox News. Riveria’s brother, Craig, reported live from the Bahamas on Saturday night.. He interviewed a woman who had gone to the cemetery where Daniel Smith is buried to visit a relative’s grave. According to the woman, Vergie Arthur was at her grandson’s grave accompanied by a reported and video cameras. This bitch who was so kindly referred to as “Momma” by that crazy judge, was actually being interviewed for television. And, she had the balls to say that Howard K. Stern was the only person who had made money off of Anna Nicole.
She made a big dramatic production of her version of the facts, pointing a figure at Stern.
And why would she feel the need to say things to reporters like…….
“Arthur said her daughter would sometimes call at odd hours in a “drugged” condition.
In one phone call, Arthur testified, Smith said, ” ‘Mom, don’t go to work tomorrow because I think you’re going to get killed.’ … This was at 4 a.m. I go to work at 6.”
Asked what kind of drugs Smith took, Arthur said she was on Valium and another drug, the name of which she could not remember. “She liked downers,” Arthur said. “She didn’t like uppers.”
Their relationship, she told Circuit Judge Larry Seidlin, went sour in 1995 or 1996. Since then, she said, her daughter kept in contact “off and on — not very often”. Now, there’s a “good mother”. Just exposed all of your daughter’s private details even though it’s not necessary to anything except putting yourself in the spotlight. I’m sure that there was absolutely NO WAY in 11 years that she could not have seen her daughter or grandson. Yeah, and monkey fly out my butt at midnight every night. It’s pretty obvious that her own daughter and adult grandson didn’t want anything to do with her. Daniel was living in California with friends before his death. Just a small amount of investigating by this professed officer of the law would have revealed that. Had she wanted to see her grandson so badly as she proclaims, she could have.
What a hypocriticpiece of shi this woman is!!!!!! So, on this day, February 24, 2007, I am officially making Vergie Arthur a member in good standing of “The White Trash Trailer Park”.
And, if she’s gonna dye her hair Anna Nicole blonde, the least she could do is take off those ugly-ass “maw-maw” shoes that she had on during the last day of the hearing. (just threw that in because I’m mean-spirited, I guess).
On another note, Larry B. came off as totally sympathetic. And, at times, he does seem truthful and sincere. But, he admitted in court that Anna Nicole insisted that he take photographs of her exclusively. Doesn’t that mean he was on Anna Nicole’s payroll, too?
And, how ’bout that video of Anna and her scumbag, legalized pusher aka Dr. Sandeep Kapoor having a “high” ol’ time in the gay bar. Howard Stern AND Larry Birkhead are in the video. And, I sure didn’t see any drug intervention/couseling going on at that time. They both appeared to be two lackeys, going so far as to hand Anna her little doggie.
Totally screwed up all around. I can only wish that by some miracle ALL of these videos will somehow be destroyed before Dannielynn grows old enough to see them. Just imagine the damage of seeing the people in her life at each other throats, drugging up, sexing out all over the place, and gaining finacially from it all. This woman surrounded herself with people that had issues bigger than hers. There is a saying that birds of a feather hang together. I think this bird’s nest was overflowing and crawling with worms.

It’s no wonder Anna wanted to distance herself from her mother. She must have been so embarrassed by her.
Vergie sent Anna away to live with a relative when she was a teenager because Vergie could not control her. Anna’s problems with drugs were also documented well before 1995 as Vergie claimed in court.
Now on to Larry Birkhead. He moaned and whined about Anna using drugs while in the hospital AND pregnant. If he saw this, why didn’t he simply go to the nurses station and let them know? They could have taken action.
However, I must say that Daniel’s father (Billy Smith) may be the worst of them all.
Why in the name of all that is holy, would he want to exhume this child’s body. A child he never saw and I’d be willing to bet never paid a dime of child support for.
Now suddenly, he’s so broken up that he wants the body moved to Texas?

If any of you even knew what you were talking about this might be worth reading. So get off of whatever your taking and start thinking for awhile. Obviously none of you kiddies (I’d guess most of you are 12-16?? and not doing well in school as most of you can’t spell or construct a decent sentence) At any rate I can tell you that from a “mother’s” perspective I would have done exactly what Vergie did and probably without nearly the composure that she had in holding it together.
Also, you don’t know what the relationship between them was. You only know what some trashy paper may have said or what some scummy lacky started in rumors. All of them making money off of this tragedy. When you “grow up” and have a family of your own…..if you can stay sober long enough….but then people like Anna Nicole are the kind you idolize so you probably can’t be sober….just stupid …or stupored…when you get you own kids and they grow up and become wild and ungrateful because they’re spoiled (like you) and they claim they’ve been abused because they had to follow orders and go to school…. then tell us all about how great a parent you are. Ok, I had to come back and read what is being talked about. I am here because Donna Hogan [half-sister to ANS-same Dad-different Mom] is publishing a tell all book called ‘TRAIN WRECK’ and she blasts everyone but ‘Vergie’ >>She tried so hard to get Vicki straighten out. She raised Daniel from 1,2-51/2,6 [depending who writes or tells the story]
Now I read Don Hogan had absolutely no contact with ex and child after 2 years old. Granted this lady knows alot, but Vicki’s formative first 14yrs of life. Was this first, second or third hand info?? Don Hogan,No contact till 1993 HMMM???? But his new daughter hung with Vicki and grew up with her???? I am totally confused.
Did she hang out with Vicki in Spring??????? Come on Girls out there, you have to remember whether Donna was around in 90.

Barb….maybe, Carin will come back and tell us. She sure blasted us so maybe she has some info on Vergie. I’ve seen some interviews with people (and Vergie) who said that Vergie and Anna hung out together and had “girl’s days” of getting manicures and drinking together. This was after she was married to J. Howard. Vergie says that she wasn’t allowed to see Anna after Anna hooked up with Howard as her lawyer. So, the timeline is unclear.
Don Hogan was interviewed on Greta VanSustern. His interview (taken directly from the Fox website) is posted in this blog. But, you can go to http://foxnews.com and look it up on Greta’s site there.
So much has been reported telling opposite sides, that it’s hard to know what the exact story is. All that I DO know is that Vicki Lynn had a really rough time from the beginning. She could not have developed all of the insecurity and problems in just a few years. It had to take root early on.

I just saw Vergie saying she just wants to be a grandmother. The looks of her just creeps me out. Why is it that Anna’s wishes are not being honoured ? Our Donna Hogan needs to remember what she says on all her interviews. Back peddles on Dr. Phil [which was I assume taped earlier in the week, before DNA anouncement] Comments and states to Miss Stern, Howards sister, how glad she was he was in Vicki s Life.
Then the next day [all day] stating she wanted nothing to do with him, he’s not worth her time. Show after show, different statements for same questions all day to the same ones and stating here-say as fact for the last 12 years. 2nd,3rd hand info and things that were in public record.
I’m very dissappointed in her, I saw some true saddness from her there for a bit. But I think she is in it for ‘Her Interpretation of Vicki and some bucks’ And it was done out of ‘anger’ not love.
This will be one more thing poor Dannielynn will have to read in the future. She won’t be able to be protected forever. Even as she gets older people will be cruel. Poor thing.

And no matter what anyone thinks or feels, or even the tragedy that happened to Danny and Vicki, HKS is attorney of record for 12 yrs. of the contested will that is in front of the Supreme Court and as a ‘Personal’ attorney legally due 5 or 6 % of that money, “IF” [and a big one] any is recovered. It could have been the regular 28% if he was just her lawyer or anyone else.
I do not believe the very solemn and quiet Mr. Stern is not the ‘BIG BAD CREEP’ everyone is portraying him to be. He gets some money no matter, unless he chooses not to. Poor man, lost everything he held dear for 12 years…..and since he is an attorney, he can make his own living w/o Vicki or her children. He looks terrible.
Don’t get me wrong, I think Larry is a fine man and will make a great father for Dannielynn. But he would not be taking this beautiful home or have custody if Danny and Vicki had not died, he needs to pray to God for his blessings and thank God things happened the way they did. He would have only got visiting rights otherwise. [Please God forgive me for thinking or writing that outloud. Please forgive me Vicki for thinking that way. You to Larry......cause I don't mean it as terrible as it sounds] This just isn’t a joyful ‘win’, my soul hurts for everybody.

I’m in total agreement with everything you said, Barb. And, I am relieved to find out that somebody besides myself, doesn’t think HKS is the antichrist. At worst, he was an enabler. Most enabler act out of love even if it’s not in the best interest of their loved one. I hope he does sue the media as has been talked about. He never got even the smallest of breaks. Slammed and damned from day one.
Let’s just hope that Dannilynn doesn’t have a Donna-cousin that will stick the knife in her back and twist it for $$$$$$$.

I just viewed a set of DVD’s of the uncensored version of the Anna Nicole Show; had I any idea of what they would contain I never would have ordered them- I knew there would be some rough language but thought I could just not pay attention to this.
What I witnessed was pure pornography- with an anything-but-quiet-and-serious Howard Stern enjoying a lap dance paid for by Anna as well as a mock (I think) sex act with Anna; there was more I won’t go into, other than his dressing up and mocking “Bobby Trendy”, who is gay- so you can imagine his impression.
The material filmed in Las Vegas was available for the then-teenage Daniel to get his hands on as well- semi-nude women lap-dancing on Anna sometimes several at once, and far worse.
Each episode showed Anna virtually stoned and Howard’s going along with everything. There was no show of any concern for her condition– only when she took a cart out onto the Vegas Strip while she was stoned did he show any concern when he felt she might wind up crashing it or hitting some children (Stern allowed her to drive-why?)
Stern seemed to enjoy living a life of debauchery with her. The thought that he could have wound up rearing Dannielynn curdles the blood; the thought of Anna Nicole Smith’s being involved in the child’s upbringing is pretty unnerving as well. As tragic as that poor woman’s death was, it would have been a far greater tragedy to see Dannielynn’s almost guaranteed destruction.
I truly hope there is no inheritance because this would almost guarantee the ruination of that child’
s life (other than, perhaps, some money for college and any doctor bills that might arise because of Anna’s using during the pregnancy). We don’t need a kidnapping, or the child’s turning into a Nicky Hilton, or whatever else the curse of an overabundance of money brings with it.
I surely hope that Virgie Arthur’s rights stop at visitation- Heaven forfend there would be any portion of guardianship.

Hi VF…I haven’t seen those tapes and from the sound of it, sure glad that I haven’t. I hope that the baby is taken to a normal surrounding and has a normal upbringing. It’s sad to think that someday she will see all of the footage and films made about and by her mother. Larry Birkhead’s extended family seem to be pretty normal so let’s keep our fingers crossed.
I still believe that HKS loved Anna. It may have been an obsessive type of love. And, there is no arguing that he made money off of her. Most of the people in her life did. She seemed to draw people that were willing to coddle her and go along with whatever she wanted.
I think that this is one of the saddest stories that I have ever heard.
